The hand gesture
Yoshai designs its creations in Switzerland, then entrusts them to small workshops chosen for their expertise. The first collection was born in Bali, in workshops with fewer than ten hands.
Here, nothing comes off an assembly line. The fabrics are hand-dyed, air-dried, knotted and worked one by one. The fringes, too, take shape knot after knot.
That's why no two pieces are exactly alike.
Irregularities are not flaws — they are proof that a human hand has been where a machine cannot go.
